Herndon is located in Rawlins,
[RA], county beside Beaver
Creek. Highway K-117 and the
BNSF railroad connect Herndon to
the rest of the world.
Downtown, there are several
interesting buildings: the bank,
the post office, and the pool
hall.
Although Herndon is a small rural
community it offers a variety of
services. It has city-provided
electricity service (including a
backup generator), water, sewer,
locker, and street maintenance.
There is cable service available,
natural gas, as well as a newspaper
provided through the Square Deal in
Atwood, the county seat of Rawlins
County.

Recycling trailer is located behind
the library in Herndon. The
trailer is in town the last 2 weeks
of every month. There are
green papers available at the front
