The Herndon Senior Center provides vital services as well as social, physical, and educational activities for senior citizens and our neighbors in the surrounding community.

Herndon Senior Center

The Herndon Senior Citizen Center was started in the early 1970's.  Officers are:

  • President: Sue Frick

  • Secretary: Sharon Frick

  • Treasurer: Jo Harris

There is no membership fee collected.  The center and its activities are open to any resident 60 years of age and older.  The center hosts a potluck every 3rd Wednesday at 12:00 noon.  The County Health nurse is available on this day for blood pressure checks.  Bingo is enjoyed after the meal.

The air conditioned building is available to rent for showers, family reunions, socials, receptions or any other need.  Please contact Sharon Frick @ 322-5375 to rent the hall.
